When I talk about Marketing, I usually talk about Niches, smaller pieces of the marketplace. I do this because it is easier to create a message and advertising campaign for a smaller group than for Everyone. To market to Everyone costs millions of dollars. (The Big 3 spent $7B this year on advertising their cars).

Hubspot has a video series on YouTube that gives the impression that cold calling and other “old school” techniques will be replaced by this “new social media”. There is one big problem with the video: Cold calling is not marketing. It’s Sales. Big difference.
